Alan Waters is struggling. With financial difficulties and the recent death of his father, Alan’s future is bleak. But when the enigmatic Mr. Coral visits Alan one fateful day, he makes an offer Alan can’t refuse.

A contract. Upon signing, the holder is granted a lifetime of good fortune, allowing Alan and his partner, Lucy, to live a life they’d only dreamed of. The catch? In exchange, the holder’s lifespan is reduced by half as payment.

Phantom Eden – Progress Update

Phantom-Eden-Logo-Web

It’s been three months since I last spoke about Phantom Eden, so I thought I’d give a small progress update on the project.

Phantom Eden is a complete rewrite of the novellas Utopia For The Devil, and New Dawn. One thing I’d like to emphasise is that this is a complete reimagining of the story. It’s not a re-release and these are not minor changes.

Around 90% of the story is rewritten from scratch. Whilst approaching Phantom Eden, I didn’t just take the original story and polish it, but rather, ask the question: How can I tell this story in a better fashion?

The book itself is coming along nicely and I work on it every day. Already, I can see improvements over the original story. I much prefer this version found in Phantom Eden, and I’m sure you will too. I’m really excited to share it in the near future.

Contract – Coming Soon – Short Drama

It’s only when Alan gives into temptation, does he realise that those who live fast, die young, and that all good things must come to an end.

Following on from Convictions, Contract will be released later this year in 2013.

Phantom Eden – Revolution Children

Earlier, I posted the reimagination of Utopia For The Devil – Phantom Eden.

Revolution Children is the next instalment in the series, advancing the story further by going back to where it all started. Prequel to the events of the original novella, Revolution Children reveals unanswered questions and explores the fall of a utopia.

The first Phantom Eden book contains Utopia For The Devil and New Dawn, completely rewritten with brand new, additional material. Phantom Eden is the first part of a new trilogy, with Revolution Children being the second instalment.

I’ll be sharing more details about Revolution Children, including a full synopsis in the new year.
